Take the skytrain... 10-15 minutes. If you took the cab, it could be anywhere from 10 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your luck.

Rachel, I assume you are female so since I am a guy, I will give you the selections a gentleman should consider when with a wife or significant other...... For comfort, take a taxi (door to door) Early evening going to Suk. take the train. Coming back late evening, maybe tipsy, take a taxi. Saving time take the train Saving money take the train Wearing heels, take a taxi. Overweight, take a taxi. Extra hot day, take a taxi. Fancy dress take a taxi. Security take a taxi. Sightseeing local colour take a taxi. Sightseeing, rubbing shoulders, take the train Shopping, take the train going and a taxi back. For exercise, walk. Yep, you can do it, but better to ride back at night. For the experience take the train and a taxi at least once. Good luck.

"Saving money take the train" Normally if you are travelling alone. If in a group of 3 or more, taxis can be cheaper in some instances. "For the experience..." Hmmm.... you could also try the the tuk-tuks and not for the faint-hearted, motorcycles taxis.
