I need to go to Jakarta from Bkk for six nights beginning March 30.
Any suggestions as to getting cheap roundtrip airfare?
Should I go to Chawla Travel on Surawong Rd., KSK Travel on Suk., or Thailand Tourist Service (Susan) on Suk?
Air Asia goes to Jakarta via KL, Malaysia with very cheap fares, as I understand it? I am wondering if it is the way to go?

My original 'guestimate' of 8000-12000 might have been a bit high. I've since seen cheaper prices advertised in Bkk Post classifieds for half those figures, but no idea who you'd fly with.
Thai Airways website does that flight online for 15,000 but obviously that's top price.

Hey Scobie,
I think your original price estimates are correct. I was quoted anywhere from 9400 to 14000 baht at 3 different places. I am wondering in the prices you are seeing in the paper if they aren't one way prices and that you need to double them. I got what I believe was a good deal for 10800 baht on Thai Airways which has two daily flights back and forth.

Hi guys, just to let you know that the cheapest way to go to Jakarta from Bkk is flying Air Asia with connecting flight at KUL.
I got a ticket one way from Bkk to KUL for 1,210 Baht including taxes, a round trip ticket from KUL-Jkt for RM 261.00 (about $55US) and a one way ticket from KUL to Macau for RM 258.00. Hell of a deal, check that out guys.
