Friday morning 6am I hail a cab outside the Ruamchitt. I want to get to the airport early, 1/2 hour and 300Baht later I should be checking in for my flight back home.
The cab driver helps me load all of my gear into the car and we proceed to the motorway, as soon as we pay the toll there is a blinking speed limit sign that reads 80K/hr, I assume that "Mario" thinks this is only 1/2 of the speed limit because he takes off like a bat out of f***ing hell. I look over and he is averaging 150-160K, weaving back and forth between the slower cars. (all of them were slower) This was the fastest cab ride to or from the airport, EVER, for me.
We arrive at the airport less than 15 mins and 155 Baht later, all for nothing, my flight was delayed 2 hours.
