JetStarAsia, backed by Quantas, recently dropped it's flights between Singapore and Pattaya, to divert to Bangkok, and is offering 1000 free tickets, for travel between March 17th and May 27th, as a promotion. I wasn't able to find any for my specific dates of travel, but you may have better luck. Still, I was able to book a round trip flight for 2600, including taxes, which is 25% cheaper than when I last used Thai AirAsia.

Looks like all the free tickets have already been taken. But, compared with Air Asia, you're riding in a new Airbus A318 instead of an old 737, and have a more generous baggage allowance if you need it. Now, if they only have prettier stews.
If you're there last week of April, see you at Orchard Towers.

Yes, have been in Pattaya since October, except for a visa run to Singapore, and a trip to Koh Chang. What hotel do you stay at in Singapore? I've been trying to get Orchard Hotel again using Priceline, but can't seem to get the price I paid in January ($45 USD + tax).

Since I have time, I'm going to keep trying for the Orchard Hotel, it's right across the street from Orchard Towers, and one block from the Thai Embassy. It's reportedly been available for a $55 bid, but I couldn't get it, so I'm in the 72 hour Priceline lockout. If you choose 4 stars in the Orchard district, you'll probably get it if you don't bid too high. Besides the location, it's a not a bad hotel, but I'd call ahead for a king bed since their double beds are really small.
