I want to bring my daughter here during the UK school holiday, she's 12 so she can travel alnoe. The only thing I am unsure about is what documents she will need. I dont mean passport etc, but I am divorced from her mum and I understand that kids just can't go from place to place without someone giving them permission. Anybody else delt with this kind of problem?? cheers GB

I suggest you ask the British Consulate in Bangkok. They should be able to give you the inofrmation you need. TC

I have been divorced and my daughter has come here at least twice a year since. Assuming someone is getting her to the airport there is no need for special papers. (I guess it would help if you had some paper showing that you were the father - but only in the most extreme of circumstances.) Nring your daughter here, have a good time and relax about papers.

Few years ago going from US to Canada with my 10 y/o daughter we were stopped by immigration and asked for a letter from my wife stating my daughter was authorized to travel overseas. Immigration questioned my daughter privately and we were allowed to enter. Only time, I've ever been stopped.
