Hello Everybody
Anyone know whick airlines will be using the new airport when it opens ? Heard a lot of speculation about when it will open what's teh latest.

From what I have read the Suvarnabhumi Airport will begin accepting some flights in September 2005, but will not officially open until March 2006.

That sounds like a way to claim that it opened on time, when it is behind schedule.
They officially delayed the open date from Sept 2005 to March 2006, but the date could slip again according to most experts. Depends mainly on when elections are scheduled as to when they will anounce another schedule slip.
Certainly, all international flights will be at the new airport once it completely opens. I don't know about domestic flights.

DL - I have been out there recently & all I can say is "No f***in Way".
Unless the kickbacks get really huge (obscenely huge) call it dec 06.
Or you could book HM the King to Christen it. That too might speed up the work.

Pretty far southeast of BKK. But there will eventually be mass transit out to there.
