Hello all, I'd seen a video clip done in one of theme or adventure park around Bangkok and really want to take my kids there when we're in Bangkok. I don't know the name of the place and hope you guys can tell me. From the background of the video clip, it has a number of activities: - elephants playing soccer - jetski stunt shows landmarks like: - Egyptian statues (pharaoh) - Old western town (like in western movies) - Large gardens Any idea?

Probably Dream World. They've got a web site (In English and Thai). I didn't know they had elephant shows. You may wish to find out more about elephant shows before you expose your kids to them.

Yeah that's what I thought too. I'd looked up their site but still not 100% sure that it's the one (no mention of elephant shows). I'll look again to be sure. From the music video clip I'd seen, it has a number of activities. I think the park is big and probably only Dreamworld would have those activities.

ircer - it has to be Dreamworld I think. Its in Rangsit and quite easy to taxi or get the BTS to Jatujak and then taxi it from there. Im pretty sure there are no elephant shows - but it is quite a big place and great value for money at about 250 each whcih gives you access to all rides except a few like the snow/ice thingy. Its hardly Disney but its good fun and good value for money. As a previous poster has said - might be a good idea to avoid the elephant shows with the kids - the handlers are a bit slap happy with the spiked sticks sometimes.

MarkC & whitespider, Now I'm sure it's Dream World. I'd looked up the Dream World website http://www.dreamworld-th.com and it meets the description (Egyptian statues) but no mention of the elephant & jetski shows. In the music video clip I'd seen, elephants are kicking ball (soccer) and the audience has a chance to lie down on the ground so the elephant can step over them. I'm think of going there by booking tour, around 1200B per person, most things are included. I'll take your advice and keep kids away from elephants.
