Hi me and my fren will be arriving at bangkok at 8pm bangkok time, we will like to go straight to pattaya before back to bangkok, if there any cheap taxi service around 1000baht to pattaya at this hour. hope to get help from you guys
Or is there still any bus service from the airport to pattaya?

Taxi to EKAMI bussstation around 200 THB bus to Pattya 90 THB or somthing like that.
Taxi from Airport everything from 1000-2000 THB

Hi would like to take a bus but afraid that there are no more bus at this late hour at EKAMI bussstation to pattaya, that why we resort to taking taxi to pattaya.
Any kind soul can provide no I can call to pre book the cab at 1000-1200 baht to pattaya....

The last Thai mini bus service leaves at 19:00, so you won't make that one.
The last bus from Ekemai leaves at 21:00, so neither an option.
See if you can get a taxi from the airport. Goto the departure area and see if a taxi dropping off leaving passengers is willing to go.

Taxi is cool...just sit in back, and talk very little and make noises like your the one to fear ::example......smack your head with hand every twenty clicks.
Pick driver over 50.
spent 600 on a blowie next day.
But drlove is correct stabbings have occurred, but rare, just actually pick an old guy spook him, dont allow stops outside petrol stations
and if he makes more than one call, or tries detour threaten to call chonburi police.
it all want happen
safe the bucks take off.
worse case will be 1350 baht

at this time at the airportm I would just take a limousine.
since you are 2, you split the cost 1250 each.
thats not even 30 us dollars.
nice merc or toyota limousine.
they are safe and reponsible.

Indeed. The regular limo service is THB 3,250 one way.
But until August 31 there is a 20% discount.
Is there a better way to drive to Pattaya in a Mercedes 220D after a long flight?

Cheap is easy. Walk out side and talk to the taxi drivers that are at the arrivals area that have just dropped someone off. Say you want to go to Pattaya, they will say some silly price like 1500bt
say
"mai aow bai chang rai bai pattaya"
"me metre krap"
(ruff trans to make sence).
"Dont want to know how much it is to go to chang rai I want to know how much to go to Pattaya, ok can you use your meter."

if he says yes then it will cost you around 800bt that time of night. Make sure he puts his metre on and all is good.
