Prices are starting to come down, I found a deal on Expedia.com JFK-BKK on Thai non stop with 14 nights at the Woodland Hotel for $1100USD return. Not a bad price. If the hotels decent.

I'm coming back in October for two weeks + and this trip is free. Cheap Charley luv frequent flyer miles.

Just checked out the prices on Thai for late Oct-early Nov for the JFK (NYC) non-stop to BKK. It's back to the introduction price of $953, including all taxes. Some of the general ticketing sites will quote you prices that don't include the $100 plus in local and federal taxes.

i hate the airlines.... I bought a ticket on 08/01/05 from JFK (NY) to BKK (with a stop in Seoul) for $1,002 (US). At the time I thought that was a good price, but since I've been reading these boards I'm not sure. they suck!! I live near Philadelphia (PHL) and they wanted $1,400 from there ( only 95 miles difference). Who can figure? I also tried to get a free flight using my frequent flyer miles from PHL to California, but the price was still $1,002 from CA to BKK!! They suck!

What is the best price anyone has achieved from PHL to BKK or JFK to BKK?

thanks. pat

Pat,

Want to make yourself sick? Go to http://www.nwa.com and enter PHL -> BKK leaving Oct 8 and returning Oct 22. Total price for the ticket from Philadelphia to Bangkok is $620.15. As mentioned earlier in my posting for airfares from the U.S. -> BKK. The brothers on this forum will help you out a lot. I must admit I am not impressed with your comment on my other post that I referred you to a suckerwebsite. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Better watch out for those bargirls if this is your first trip to LOS.

Best price from JFK-BKK on Cathay Pacific was $88.USD plus taxes in May 03. The price is correct. The fare was a mistake but the airline honored it.

Amazing price on NWA from PHL-BKK. If I wasn't already booked on UA I would book this.

I was at the Thai Site last week and booked BKK - JFK -BKK leaving Sept 25 and returning December 14 th cost was approx 1118.53 out the door, but as I am paying for the ticket in Bhat it may go up or down a little. This ticket is unrestricted and has free changes (that is because if the client wants to wrap up before the middle of December, I am off like a shot to home!)...

I would indefinately check with your local travel agent. Just called one the other day just to price the current fare on JAL. Here's the strange part. The airlines actual website says for January, when I'm going is 1090 RT. The weird thing is the travel agent said $590! I thought I was only calling to price the fare, but I said I'll book 2 flights. By the way this is from Honolulu to Bangkok.
