LAST NIGHT returned from Beijing/ Shanghi with the old lady thru Tokyo- the whole crew was in shock- just announced- NORTHWEST airlines is leaving NY/JFK as of Oct 1st so had to re-book my ny/bkk pussy flight thru Detroit in november and march- had upgrades with miles on both and I was early enough to get both trips upgraded thru detroit- but with the extra 2 hours on top of 12 and 6- THAI airways in steerage is sounding better and better- act now if you hold- im sure some day they will get around to telling the public!!!!!
Northwest is now two stops and two change of planes from NYC to BKK. TG is nonstop. Via the pacific, UA, ANA Cathay, JAL, SG and Korean are one stop and many airlines have one-stop service through Europe.
