I will be travelling in LOS December/January already planned several days in Isaan area ( exact town is Pawak - a -pompisai) now I read phuket air has ceased services to Buriram ( closest airport).
Anyone have any news of who will be flying that way in near future?

Andaman Air used to fly to Surin ?? but that was a few years back, and of course TG daily to Korart - only a little 5 hr drive in a rental anyway !

Thanks TPE,, Mate last four times I have gone to Buriram different planes,, was Andaman was Thai-air etc,, no worries I will walk if necessary ( joke).
There is 'No way" I coulkd handle getting the bus,, but train ???? maybe,, at least I can sneak a smoke between carriages. P>S are sleeper cabins definately no smoking or >>>> no-smoking unless you get caught,,,LOL

Mel as with all trains you can smoke in between the carragies or in the buffet car if any,
i had the waitress away on the BKK / udon trip many moons ago,
still remember her, rose loveley girl,
and she did smoke

There are 2 flight's daily to Buriram from Don Muang, one in AM and in PM. Last time (April) my wife bought the tickets at the Air Andaman booth about 3,000 Baht RT.

AHH great NO bus,, I hate those damn buses for more than a 2 hour trip.
