I arrive Bkk at 7:30 a.m. and would like to travel to Hua Hin direct. Anyone know how I can do it? I suppose I could fly but I am curious about overland. Any suggestions from you anyone? Taxi? Rental? Other cheaper mode? Can I skirt bkk or will I get caught in traffic? Thanks.

If you can get to hulampong railway by 09.15 you can get the express train straight,
lovely way to go.

easy to get a taxi there, about 1800B....not bad for 250km (from the airport)
let me know if you want a very reputable taxi driver to meet you and take you there.....
