Finally, recieved my final work date commitments 12th December 05!
Been surfing and phoning all sites and agents for a flight outta this freezing land. All the available pre Christmas quotes from Dublin are coming in around £850+.
That extra 2-3 hundred quid would really be useful to help put my gogo dancing Korat cutie through further education She really doesnt like working in that p4p envirioment. However she only stays there because she enjoys being near the seaside as that is the only reason she came to Pattaya
Im desperate to get a flight booked.Can anyone advise.

its expensive cos of your dublin to uk bit
suggest u find a cheaper way to get to london or another airport and fly from there
eg ryanair / bmibaby to eg milan or rome then alitalia to bkk

and be careful about the girlfirend in pattaya not liking the industry etc etc etc its all b.s

Try Dublin to Bahrain and bahrain to BKK
Gulf air start sometime first week December not sure of the fare you may be lucky. Peak season normally starts about 14 December

There is a number on there for BKK Travel Ltd (London).
Thai travel company based in London. They had £340 return EVA and £350 return for Thai so long as you outbound in November.
They always have better deals than the online guys as they have close relationship with EVA and Thai. However as previous posters have said you wont get cheap direct flights from December 1st until about the 2nd week in January.

Just a little flight info.
Just booked to Fly M/C to BKK on 18/5/06, via Abu Dhabi with Etihad, total fare incl. taxes is 392 GBP.
I am told that this airline have just started flying out of Manchester so offering good prices. My last few trips have all been around 500 GBP, so it looks a good deal.
I used Qatar airlines late last year, M/C to Singapore via Doha. Both outbound and return I was bumped off the flight. Outbound I was sitting in my seat, obviously with boarding pass. I was asked to report to the security desk. On arrival there I was told that the plane was overbooked. Despite my protests, my bag was offloaded and I had to spend 24 hours in Doha.
I was taken care of in a good hotel, but the inconvenience was a shit. I was chatting to the reception guy, Sri Lankan, who told me that it was NOT UNCOMMON,for western guys, particularly English to be bumped off flights.
So fly Qatar Airlines with caution. I won't use the fcukers again.
