Had anybody recently booked a flight on the thaiirways website? Since 3 days I try to book a flight via the that website but whenever I put in my username and password I get a "System error, please try again later" later message.
Seems also that the server is really really slow!

Yeh I had a few problems....eventually got my ticket but the site is terrible sometimes. Got me wondering why an organisation of this size could have so many problems with a website? oh well

I've had problems, too. Same experience as Skippy. Eventually could make the reservation and get the ticket, but took much, much longer and required far more effort than booking online with other airlines.

Finally -after 5 days- I could make a booking. They really should so something about these problems but sometimes I think they didn't care about that!!!

Also won't let you order a ticket for someone else. Tried to book a NYC to BKK ticket for my bro'. After an initial set of confirmation emails, he got a call from them saying it had to be booked under his own VISA card. So my gift to him went up in smoke. I suppose they are requiring this on international flights? But that means I can never book for someone else... kinda crazy.

BB, this is a TG policy for online transactions, like it or not.
A way around this is that if you have the same last name, then just use HIS first name on the credit card page. The only thing that is verified with the credit card company is the number, expiration, security code and last name.

There were occassional troubles with their server when I was just browsing but normally back online after a few hours
Anyhow I booked a ticket a week ago online. My e-ticket has gone AWOL. Site said it has being issued but Mr cyber space monster must have swiped it for his own trip

I also had a lot of trouble loogging on to buy tickets in the past two days, and I called them but they couldn't help me. I just kept trying till I got in but I did notice one thing that there is two different addresses that get you in, one being "thaiair" and the other "thaiairways".
