I looked for an answer on my maybe strange question but I found nothing.
I'm travelling to and from Thailand for the last 12 years on my B visa without problems.
My visa runs out around this time ( I’m outside Thailand at the moment ) but I have to go to Thailand before I'm get my next B visa.
So this means that I have to enter Thailand on an tourist visa for about 2 weeks before I leave to Europe where I renew my B visa again.
So my question is: Is it a problem to enter Thailand without on a tourist visa after my B visa runs out?
All info is welcome.

you have a work permit....?
They can be very tetchy about issuing back to back B visa if no work permit is in place, though there are many circumstances to that and may not apply to you.
Entering on a tourist visa after a B visa is no problem, hell, I've known people deported for visa irregularities come back in the next day.
For two weeks you do not need a visa at all...just enter.

Also you cannot get a new B visa in Thailand. You can get one renewed in Thailand, but once it expires you are back to the start of the line. Me talking from direct experinece here.
I was able to get a another B VISA in Singapore in a matter of 2 days.
This is an obsurd rule, but "This is Thailand"
This also resets the clock for the 3 year resident VISA requirement.
Moral, "Do not let those B VISA's expire"

I'm getting my new B visa from the consulate in Holland without any problems. ( 5 min in and out )
But i'm not able to do it before my old visa expires !"£$%^&* () _+

Sounds like it is something that should have been planned?
Back when I was a teenager and thus lacked competent planning skills I always claimed the dog ate the paper work,,,,,try that, you never know.

Mixing tourist visas and B visas should cause no problems - I've had a similar situation when I first arrived; B visa runs out whilst I am away and I screwed up the admin. Hopped back in on atourist visa and continued to come and go for three months before I had time to get to Singapore to get a new B visa.

You can get a EXIT visa and keep on traveling with the B visa. I have a Wife visa I think thats a O but if I want to go out I have to ask for another VISA to get out otherwise I have to start all over. Now it just take me max 10 min each year.
