I have found this taxiservice to be good, friendly and reliable. They are 2 or 3 guys with their own cars and what I like is that they are genuine registered cabs. However they only run bookings. The cars they use are larger station wagon types and thus you can go 7 people. Or not have any worries about luggage.
I am using these guys to Hua Hin for which the charge is 2500 B. Pattaya is 1500 B, tolls included. But they are prepared to take you anywhere at a decent price.
I can strongly recommend the service which I have found to be excellent.
