Hi There
Its been six years since I visited the LOS - then was paying about £400 for a flight - wondered what deals are going at the moment - not fussy what time of the year I travel but the cost of the flight is a major concern now.
Do flights from the UK still go into Don Muang or do they go into the new airport.

if u r flying FROM uk u will get a better deal than u would buying the ticket from thailand anyway
any of the lastminute.com expedia etc etc websites will give u a cheap flight
or any agent
u can probably still get one for 400 gbp rtn if u dont care when or who with
and yes for several years all int'l flights go into suwarbhumi (sp) new airport

You'll be lucky to get an indirect flight for £400 now. Last visit with Eva direct (in Jan) was £620.
Not forgetting that a nicker now nets you less than 50baht as well.
Still had a great time, but I found I drank less beer (good thing), shagged better hookers less often (good thing), but shyed from "International" restaurants. If you want to eat falang food, spunk money in the bars & be completely indiscriminate, maybe time to re-assess.
If however you can enjoy all things considerately, then bangers is your place.
Lets face it, a gobble at SoL still comes in around 15 sovs.

Anybody planning a trip from the UK to Bangkok may be able to bag a cheap flight in the Emirates sale. Offer is for departures between these dates -: up to 29 Mar 12 / 11 Apr - 30 Jun 12 / 15 Aug - 30 Sep 12
I have just booked a return flight to Bangkok, departing Manchester in September for £490. That is more than £250 cheaper than I had to pay for my February 2012 flights, so I am more than happy. So lets see... a massage in Bangkok costs about B2,300 that's about £47 each.... at least 5 extra massages!
