Yes, there seem to be some amazing bargains appearing over the last week or so. Singapore Air has anounced some amazing worldwide fares from Oz.
Would have been nice if they had been before I paid for my latest trip!

Could you please post a web link for that £299 fair to Singapore. ŬI need to go there soon and the cheapest return fair I can find from here (Amsterdam) to Singapore with Singapore Airlines is 888euros (£637).
Incidentally if it's of any interest to anyone... KLM are offering return flights to Bangkok or Singapore out of Amsterdam for £314* (438 euros). ŬThat's 50% + off the regular ticket price.
(*can only be booked within 72 hours of departure and only applicable flying out of Amsterdam)

Hello All:
if any of you are able to book these fares please post your experience.
I found out about these fares immediately after there were available on Monday, and have had a hell of time trying to book. I am here in Australia, and there is a separate number from the usual Singapore Air number to ring. I have been ringing 100 times a day for 2 days and still can't through as the line is busy (engaged). I passed the info onto my usual travel agent who also was ringing her contacts for 2 days. No luck.
In addition, these fares are only available for the first 15,000 to book worldwide.
I am disappointed, but, still arriving in LOS in July.

I think the "1st 15,000" thing applies to the EXTRA discount... like a disoc*** over and above the promotional fares. ŬI think everyone gets the promotional prices (which as far as I can make out are VERY good) and the first 15,000 bookers get massive disoc***s. (around 75%)
