I tried searching the forums with no luck... does anyone know if you can still walk into a pharmacy and walk out with a handful of valiums? I've bought it along sukhumvit in the past- they are a great help in getting over jet lag. Also it's unavailable where I live in the Mideast so it's nice to get ahold of a few while I'm abroad.
Any advice is appreciated.

did not know that valium helps for jetlag, I might try that out. it should be no problem to get valium over the counter in los

just walk in a pharmacy and tell them you want valium...  they will happily sell them to you with a smile if they have some. then you might overpay

About 100 baht per tablet ( valium/mogadon etc), that was last year anyway.

I had problems getting Sleeping Pills this time, where as a year ago wasn't a problem...Got some at the pharmacy near Nana (the one nearer Soi 0).

Valium as I remember is much less than 100 baht/tablet. The little blue 10 mg ones were maybe more like 20 baht/tab as I remember. I bought twenty and I'm sure I didn't pay 2000 baht!

Valium is approx 4-10 baht for the 5 mg depending on where bought. Along Suk you will pay about 7-10 for 5mg (usually yellow) and between 14-20 for the blue 10 mg one. No problem getting them anywhere - If one place doesnt have them - the next will. Ask for valium or diazapan (generic valium)
