Hello,
wold like to share my experience on HIV with you.
First of all I will admit that have on many occasions in the past (over 100+) had bareback sex with thaigirls.
Why did I do it, the kick, the thrill. Now when I look back I call it the most unresponsible and stupidest thing I have ever done.
Let me tell you about my rude awakening and a reality check that I wish no one.
This all started back in May 04, when I came back from BKK after some sanook, and yes I had bareback sex with girls that time. Now I am no stranger to the odd STD, so when I got the burns I knew the procedure.
After feeding on Antibiotics for 2 weeks I got my first herbes Sores on Mr Slim. No big deal again I thought. 4 weeks passed and the herpes sores where still present, I had used Aciclovir crème daily but to no avail.
In August I had gotten my first Lymph knots under my armpits. Again no biggie I thought. This whole thing carried on until December when I really started to worry. In addition to the herpes and the knots (that where getting big and painful) I started getting fever for no apparent cause, sometimes lasting for many days but always recurring. It was middle of Jan when I first flipped. I had noticed a blue lesion in my mouth. All alarmbells rang.
Up until that time I had been through all kinds of tests except HIV. And everything came back ok.
For some sick fear of knowing the truth I put the test off. Inside I was freaking out. I was scared, and sometimes broke out in tears fearing what would happen if I truly was Positive.
It was just last week (Tuesday evening to be exact) when I finally mustered the courage to take an HIV test. When I talked to the doctor and told him about my symptoms he said that there is high chance that the results will be positive and that I should prepare for a such case. That day he took two vials of blood from me, one for a standard ELISA (EIA) test and one Western Blot (to rule out a false negative).
I then had to wait until today (09:15 to be exact)
I can truly say one thing, that this week was the worst week of my life. I could not sleep SAT & SUN. This morning I was a nervous shaking wreck when I came to the doctor.
I still was in the waiting room for another 15 minutes or so until the doc called me in her office. I was expecting the worse.
But she put her arm on my shoulder and said that both tests came back Negative. I actually broke out in tears.
Now I am on strong (800mg) Aciclovir meds for the next 14 days, to get rid of these herpes. After spending time with the doc I found out that a lot of the symptoms I have are regular signs of a weak immune system and that indeed my long exposure to herpes may have caused these signs.
Anyway let me tell you one thing that I have surely learned my lesson here.
You may flame me, for being so stupid. But I don’t care, the only reason I am posting this here is because I want to open the eyes of some people here that are still barebacking.
I can tell you that the fear of having HIV is strong enough to break every man. If you are in doubt get tested and please use a condom.

I'm glad you are not HIV positive. I can count on one hand using two fingers how many times I've went bareback with a Thai girl and I know I was freaked out after every encounter. Good luck to you and be careful.

So, let me get this straight - you have herpes symptoms, so you *know* you have herpes, yet you you bang around bareback - apparently unconcerned of spreading it?
If there ever was any reason to cover up for everyone else, this story is it!

I'm glad that you are OK. I wouldn't wish HIV/AIDS on my worst enemy. But I also have no sympathy for your mental anguish. Anybody who has sex with 100+ prostitutes without protection deeserves all he gets. Further, this dreadful thing is not going to go away anytime soon and all those who go around like you are increasing the risk that it takes a hold on the P4P scene in Thailand and wipes it out (like parts of Africa have been decimated). It wouldn't take much for that to happen. Consider the German guy who apparently infected all those girls in Chiang Mai (or wherever it was).
And most importantly you are not only putting your own life at risk, but others too. And that is unforgiveable.

I have to agree with Daffy, I have no clue why you are so overjoyed that you don't have HIV. Herpes can never be cured either. True you have a much higher risk of passing the infection when sores are present. But I am quite sure, that Herpes being a blood borne pathogen, that if you shoot some  in a girl or blood you will pass it. Thanks for being a bareback rambler

How come when a guy summits a story like this. ( I have read simular stories like this from time to time). It always seems to have a somewhat happy ending in that they Never come out Positive for HIV??? Makes me wonder if its not some one that just wants to advertise condoms using the old HIV scare tactic method. Maybe the guy is the president of trojan?or lifestyles ??
And why do others seem to always bash the guys who admit there going bareback?? 1st the guy bashing always says, I never ever go bareback I am just so responsable which makes me better then you attitude which I believe is total bullshit also. HIV is real however its a risk you take while makeing the choice to engage in this activity of ours. So lets get off the high and mighty horse.
Has anyone looked at a lot of these asian porn sights recently?? A Lot of them still have plenty of barebacking going on. Do they know something we don,t??? One has to wonder if HIV is so rampent then why are these porn guys ( see MY ASIAN SEX TRIP or ASIAN BABYMAKERS) going without??? Come on fellas lets here some feedback on what I say good or bad I don;t care Cause frankly I getting tired of this Condom permotion with scare tactics.

Let me clear your mind about HIV fact.
The amonuts of HIV sells in your blood is very important when it comes to give it along to others.
If the Hiv cells are very few it is not easy for a women to give it to the man. Of course man to man and man to women is more easy beucase you have something cum inside. There is also a cell in people from EU that had the plauge long ago that fight the HIV but do not bet on that one. I had sex with a HIV + girl for 3 years and I was tested 6 times after this and I am still Negative. The doctor told me that she only has is she do not give it to others right now. If she would get more HIV cells in her blood and delvelop AIDS after the HIV cells reach a point of no return then off course I would have a high risk getting it. Using a condom will 99 % stop you from getting HIV and there is no condom asian or other that LEAKS HIV cells. The HIV virus will DIE in 2 sec after it leaves the body and therefore a cum in the face will not give you HIV or the chanse is less. There is only 1 case in the world that lesbian give HIV and thats a African women and a English lady, my guess there was a very sick AIDS africam women. There is many HIV strings and there is a new string now in USA that will kill you in a mather of month instead of years and no medince right now will stop it. You can get HIV 1 HIV 2 soo even if you already got it you can always get another one.

I can just tell you that when she told me after 3 years that she got HIV and "forgett to tell" it was the worse thing that ever happend to me. Sweden has a 2 week waiting time for the resluts and that was a killer.
For a minute there...I thought that you knowingly had sex with an HIV+ girl for three years. If someone was sleeping with me for 3 years, knowing they had HIV, and just didn't tell me, they'd end up thrown into the ocean. That's awful, I'm sure you must have gone threw hell waiting for the results.
