Anyone recommend a cardiologist in Bangkok? My doctor told me I have atrial defibulation (SIC always been a poor speller) and may need to see one once a month while I am in the LOS. Not sercious enough to prevent me from moving over there (24 days) but serious enough for continued treatment.

bumrungrad hospital has a few very good cardiologists
you can do a search at their website for all of them.. look for those that have done training in either the US or Britain.. usually better English and training..
as a rule of thumb, younger ones are more current than the older ones, but go for guys with quality educations

Your problem will not only need a good cardiologist but also good and advanced testing and dignostic equipments. Bumrungrad will be your best bet.

... I too have problems with my ticker, first diagnosed here by a very competent cardiologist.
... ditto prior recommendations on Bumrungrad... all the latest technologies you will find in the best western hospitals... first [and I believe still the only] Asian hospital to win accreditation by JCIA - the organization that accredits U.S. hospitals... argueably a best hospital in Asia.
... my cardiologist there is Dr. Visuit Vivekaphirat... American Board Certifications in both Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease... sort of humorless, as are most specialists at this level of play... he also serves as the Medical Director of Bumrungrad's Heart Center.
... Bumrungrad and Dr. Visiut would not be a mistake... a 'walk-in' somewhere, might be.
... if you can carve out a day, consider doing the executive health check-up... thorough... a great deal.

I believe the new addition that beign built at Bumrungrad is supposed to be a cardiac facility (maybe someone has more info on this?). Was still under construction when I left at end of December, curious when it is supposed to open...

bumrungrad was in 2003 the worlds best cardio hospital and got an award for this
i've been operated, 6 briges, and still alive,
good doctors there
but, after, you need to watch food, way of living,
only things good is sport,..... walking, bike, swimming, sexing
all things you can easily do around bumrungrad
