cheap as chips. I had a wisdom pulled that was beyond repair. A few needles and 160b later, job was done.
More recently had one re-plugged - drilled and filled, after cleaning up the old filling which had gotten infected deep down - a few hundred baht.

theethrus... very good, but more expensive than FBs job, in ambassador coutyard, thery have a web site, also a good guy down sukhumvit soi 19, near the Honey hotel - of course the further from the tourist areas you get, the cheaper the price ... just explaining the problem may be difficult ! - but yes, mates i have reffered say about 1/3rd the price compared to overseas for most dental work.

This happy poster spent several days last OCT> gettin drilled and filled, and glued back together, by a lovely female Thai Dentist,(mmmm, could I have,MMM). The name of the of the place was Dental Hospital, way down some soi,(120??) past the Emporium, on the left. The locals will give you the exact location, but the taxi man took me there after another very small clinic dentist failed to show up to begin bridge work.
I was very impressed with the "hospital", x-rays, lab, hygenist, dentist, all in one stop shopping, I will definately return when I'm back. Any way the place is called the Dental Hospital, and I think the Medical hospital has dental clinics also, but was told they were expensive.
The price for my work I think was about 1/3 of what I'd pay WITH the deductable and copay from my dental plan in the states. Very reasonable. Good work, clean and safe environment.

I go to Bum....Hospital on Soi 3, (It is recognised as the best in BKk and does have an international rating and acceptance, not like others).
The dental clinic up on Levels 3, plus a couple of nice receptionists, one who can be persuaded with a kind word to go to dinner with you.
They also have a great eye clinic and the Thai doctor saved the sight in one of my eyes two years ago. f_cken close to loosing it with a germ.
Good dentist, trained outside of Thai and speaks english.
A normal filling cost me 1600 Baht (30 min work)
A special big one (in my rear tooth) that took him 70 mins to do cost me 3000 Baht.
At the hospital they sterilize their equipment or are more likely to follow hygenic practices.
I would question using the small back yard cheaper dentist in Bkk who may not sterilize his equipment after each customer.
This has been shown to be a possible way of transmitting HIV if blood from the previous person was involved in their drilling.

Great report Craig, who would give much thought to chattin up some cuttie at a dentist office in the US. God I Love LOS- anywhere anytime.
And maybe it's the uniform thing. I dunno somethin about a woman with a drill and her hand down my throat..................shit I'm gettin wet again thinkin about it.

I did and even went back to get my teeth cleaned and some extra bullshit things looked at (most visits are 30min) so you get a few chances to talk to the girls. I struck up a conversation relationship over a few days.
Had to make a judgment about the body as they are sitting down mostly, so you cant look up their skirts.
Approached her the 2nd time for a chat and the third time asked her out.

That hospital has an entrance on Soi 1 as well, doesn't it? I stayed in Soi 1 almost across the road from there and saw all the pretty nurses having meals at the stalls out the front of the convenience store. Some mighty nice women - gotta love those uniforms.

Yes it straddles the two Sois 1- 3. Its the best in Bkk
A lot of Taxi drivers coming from the airport turn down Soi 1, drive through the hospital and come out on Soi 3 then head straight for NEP - Nana Disco
Its not a bad place to sit in, has a
Mc Donnalds, a Cafe and is close to Bamboo Bar.
I normally take my TGs their for there STD & blood tests before I BB them.

Yes, I can vouch for that. That area is taxi City - we always caught our taxis from that spot.
