Has anyone come across this before? I woke up one night, with what I thought a good hard on. But on getting up to go to the toilet, it went down instantly, wondering it it was caused through blood flow or water coming from the bladder. The worrying part is that the penis,is curved and comes right back like a banana, towards the body and hurts on being bent straight. Looked on internet and found the above disease, anyone have had this would like imfo on course of action. have a appointment at the hospital on this but have been waiting nearly ten weeks now. No flaming please. I am really pissed off!!! Arrive in march can imagine GF saying something about " what you bring me" regards peter

PP, More common than you think. The #1 doc in the US who has corrected this condition works out of The University of California at San Francisco. I believe he does 2 to 5 a week. I believe his name is Dr Lue--a urologist of of SF. I hope you can get this problem "straightened" out. Do some research on this because you don't want somebody to botch this operatiion up. GYM

The main thing is start the corrective procedures as soon as possible. See a Doctor immediately. It is usually caused by some sort of trauma resulting in scar tissue in the penis. Kind of like pinching one of those long balloons, the pinch causes the balloon to curve in one direction. The scar tissue may be causing the abnormal curveture of your penis. It may get more extreme as time passes.

Caleden Thanks for reply. The curious thing is this never happens it the day, only between midnight and say 8am,woder if you can let me know whether the swelling is caused by blood or urine, and to the effect going down as soon as I stand up. will see doc next week, further there is a small lump at the far end of the penis, not the tip end which is hard and sore to the touch pete

PP I am not a medical professional so I cannot answer that. In peyronies disease its usually scar tissue affecting the flow of blood in the penis during erection. Again you need to see a Doctor. Hope everything turns out for you.
