I read in another forum that a guy who claimes he is an expert on STDs that this mouth wash kills any kind of viruses.
I have never heard this before and assume this is bull.
Have anyone else heard about this?

I think nobody is an MD here. You will read what others have experienced/read somewhere else. Would be nice if one of the members is an MD being able to clarify this health care issues once in a while....
We better get the opinion of the health pros on this matter. However, as far as I know a mouth wash is an antiseptic. You can kill bacteria if done properly but I got a friend who got a BBBJ from a TG who was requested to use LISTERINE before the service. He got gonorrea afterwards......shit happens sometimes....

Viruses are very fragile and a lot of things can kill them on contact (in the wrong environment they disintegrate rapidly). So this substance may be somewhat effective to disinfect objects quickly. However, using it in the mouth would just kill whatever virus happens to be there right now (which for HIV at least is not very much, since it doesn't like saliva anyway). After using it the virus comes back. It's the same with Listerine; it will kill some things (reduce the concentration in the mouth), but not all and they will slowly (or quickly) come back.

Once again chompoo is right on target and hit the nail right on the head. I always have the girl and myself use listerine before we get started and we use it when we finish.
As soon as I finished I try and take a piss, I also use baby wipes made with alcohol to wipe my penis. Ten trips to LOS and so far NO STD.

hmm many trips to various places imbibing the local cultures and I've not had a single STD to my name.
I take very little in the way of precaution other than a good dose of booze and a raincoat, I might try the wipes though sounds like it'd be a nice idea and at any rate help to refresh for the next round.
