Why not make it public, shark. I am interested too.

The last I checked Bupa was the most obvious one with a THB 20,000 for a half year rate.

Dr. Love you are right, the reason why is that I am in the moment sitting in my office in Germany and will be back in LOS in April. The insurance certificate is in LOS and frankly speaking I do not remember much details in the moment.

I remember
Muang Thai insurance company (allegedly only company that compensated Tsunami victim's claims)
14.000.- THB per quarter.
Combined with life insurance 2.000.000.- in case of death
2.000.- THB/day in case I have to stay in hospital plus all expenses for medical treatment and surgery. Here I will update the numbers as soon as I am back in LOS.

In case anyone needs more detailed info then PM me and I will contact my office in LOS to give me more details.

Cheers

I used to be BUPA Platinium; satisfied with it. Big advantage, you do not need to pay in advance in most of hospitals. Just look carefullyt at the exclusions...

Stopped my BUPA (Thailand) contract as I moved to an "expat" plan in my home country.

I use William Russell as per the link in the above post which covers myself and my daughter worldwide (except USA) up to 1 million us.

Not cheap - I pay about 200 US a month, but coverage is superb and for peace of mind it can't be beat.

I also have a crappy BUPA policy through work which really isn't worth the paper it's written on.

Thanks to BustyB for that William Russell link

FM, of course there are a lot of variables, but I know several people in the 50 to 60 age bracket (one in perfect health) all paying in the neighborhood of $500 a month here in L.A., makes the $200 your paying sound like a bargain
