Hey,
I have a friend in Thailand, wanted to know of any places that carry the US or European branded weight loss pills/supplements. He would like to steer clear of the Asian brands.
Brands that include Hoodia Extract, Acai Fruit or Cacao Nibs that can either carry small quantities of or are sold in the pure form. Lipovox or Hydroxycut were mentioned.
I drew blank, only thinking of proprietary stuff from GNC and the odd import medicine/health and beauty shop in MBK and other malls in the city.
I mentioned ebay.com and to ask sellers for international shipping.
Anyone have any other ideas

Get hold of a book on prescribed medicines - available in libraries in your home country - they will list all the branded ones. Take it from there...

For not answering my questions.
Weight Loss Supplements w/ Hoodia Extract, Acai Fruit and Cacao Nibs are OVER THE COUNTER items. why would I need to go to the library and read a book on prescription medicines.

Boots pharmacy, being British, should be able to help. Alternatively, ask any of the smaller independent pharmacists along any road. I'm sure, for a fee, they'd be able to order Euro/US branded supplements.
Be aware that the Chinese are now copying medication including popular stuff like dietry supplements.
Try forums on thaivisa.com and ajarn.com also.

Buying over the counter drugs in LOS has changed in the past year or so. Once you could by a few of major US weight loss stuff, not true anymore.
One bud did pay a working girl to go to the same store we did and she was able to buy what he wanted. So you might find a local to ask.
For us/me all I got was "Go to Hospital" response.

Agreed! I send LOCALS to buy my pharmacy needs. I was always given a fake. Though, in the five star hotels (doctors or nurses office in hotel) they will usually have legit drugs, or be able to get it for you.
