Haven't read it, Harry - life is too short to worry continually about stuff we have no control over. LOS is about having a good time and leaving your troubles behind in your home country. Certainly take precautions but if you come to LOS and worry about every little thing that can go wrong you'll never have a good time. You can be as careful as you can and end up getting run over by a tuk-tuk. Que sera sera, whatever will be will be.

The mystery illness called severe acute respiratory syndrome, or SARS, was first detected in Southeast Asia and is now spreading across the world.
These are the most up-to-date details as of March 27:
Total number of reported cases: 1,408
Confirmed death toll: 53
Canada: 28 cases reported. Three dead.
China: 806 cases reported. 34 dead.
France: One case reported.
Germany: Four cases reported.
Hong Kong (Special Administrative Region): 367 cases reported. 10 dead, including a patient who was medically transferred from Vietnam.
Italy: Two cases reported.
Ireland: Two cases reported.
Romania: Three cases reported.
Singapore: 78 cases reported.
Switzerland: Two cases reported.
Taiwan: Six cases reported.
Thailand: Three cases reported.
United Kingdom: Three cases reported.
United States: 45 cases reported.
Vietnam: 58 cases reported. Four dead.
