it varies from clinic to clinic. some make their own tests other do send them in to get the result the next day.
mind you that the quick ones are a bit more expensive and i just somehow have the feeling that those quick tests are not really reliable!

also some testing Kits available - not sure how effective, Orasure and Bioline are a couple, but think they are bulk packed maybe 4 tests per carton with Orasure, and 40 with Bioline - which works out much cheaper - as both are around 3,000 bt for a carton.

Bangkok Nursing Home in Convent rd (Silom) is a great alternative. They speak english, it's clean, result in less than 2 hours and the cost is appr. TB 600.
Did my regular yearly couple of month ago there.

Just a heads up on the HIV test. You can get the results quickly but remember HIV will not show up in your blood until 1-6 months after contracting the virus. Usually you will get a positive test after 3 months, so even if a bg passes the test you have to think, how many guys has she done in the last 3 months.
