Experienced members of these forums (fora) are, I guess, mostly 20+ and 30+ and so may not be able to answer this. But for those of us of dignified middle age in whom the spirit is as willing as ever but the flesh a little detumescent, how authentic is the Viagra on offer here and there in BKK? And how much?

Viagra sold in Bkk is not fake.. you can get it at reputable pharmacies for less than you will pay in the USA.
Indian Viagra is available at about 1/2 the price of Viagra .. look for Penagra/Managra .. again at reputable pharmacies you will get the real thing .
all contail sildenafil citrate which is what you need. I recommend you buy 100mg and split in two as it is a bit cheaper .. the pharmacist will split for you ..
buy in the blister pack of four, don't buy if they pour them out of a bottle.

Much cheaper to buy the Indian version of Vitamin V. Available in 50mg or 100mg and in pink or red. Have always seen in blister pack and seem to work just fine.
I buy it at the large pharmacy next to the filling station in front of the Nana Hotel. 600 baht for a package of 4 100 mg tablets. 1/3 tablet is plenty for a full nights fun.
Nothing wrong with taking vitamin V. Most of us don't get the play outside the LOS as we can there, so long as it helps with the fun in LOS, why not?
Remember not to drink much as cuts down the effect considerably. And never mix with nitrates.

Go to the pharmacy to the left of Nana hotel once you hit Sukhumvit. Not the first small one but the second big one to the right of the small one if you are facing the pharmacy. Ask for viagara and say "same same". The pharmacist will pull out the 4 count blister pack of chinese generics. 600 baht. I bought a pill cutter in the states at duane reade for about 3 bucks. Cut in quarters towards the beginning of a week trip and in half toward the latter. Never take a whole pill unless you are really having dysfunction.

Mykal, yep, that is the one I go to. The lady or the man behind the counter speaks good english and will offer both types.
Also a good place to get the travel pack of antibiotics. Norflaxin and amoxcillin before going out. Stay away from Ciproflaxin- as strong stuff and always the risk of helping the evolution of resistant strains of bugs...
Doc friend in the Army recommended them prior to a night out, easy on alcohol, and a good piss and wash afterwards to prevent any STDs.

If you are down towards Cowboy, the place I go is KS Pharmacy.. same side of the street as Robinsons/Macdonalds ..
About three doors away towards Thermae, Clinton Plaza
Ask for Khun Naree or Khun Naris .. both speak good English and will not BS you ..
I have been a customer for over 10 years ..
Also, they have a real cutie working in there most of the time .. if I was nervy, I would ask her out .

I would agree with oaktoad. I went to KC pharmcy and got a strip of four from Khun naree for a great price.. and it worked well since I was totally drained from 6 boom boom session within last 24 hours.. I put the smile on my last pick up of the day while I was in bkk..

John NM, hate to burst your bubble but all Cipro type drugs are becoming gonorrhea resistant now. About 14% of Asia gonorrhea is floxaxin (cipro, oxo etc.)resistant now. They do not treat gono in Asia with that anymore. They use something that has proven to be resistant free called cepholosporins now. I have heard Zithromax to do the trix but that shit is expensive.
