The Herpes virus
HSV-type 1
causes fever blisters on the mouth or face (oral herpes)
HSV-type 2
typically affects the genital area (genital herpes)
Both viral types can:
-be inactive or 'silent' causing no symptoms
-cause either genital or oral infections
-cause 'outbreaks' of blisters and ulcers
-People can remain infected for life after the first initial episode

Certainly not proud of this, but I got genital warts once from the very first girl I ever slept with when I was 15. What were the odds?
It took quite a while (maybe a year?) for the symptoms to set in. Once they did, I went to one local doctor and he wanted to give me a local anesthetic and cut them off. There was no freaking way anyone was going to be sticking needles in my dick and cutting anything out in that general area.
I had to find a specialist in dermatology who would burn them off with liquid nitrogen. I went for one treatment and they went away for a while and then came back about a year later. So, I had to go in for another treatment this time with a different dermatologist. Had to go through the same process of burning them off with liquid nitrogen. This time it was with a chick doctor who was pretty cute but I was certainly in no mood to rise to the occasion. I had to go back in for one more checkup and was told that if I did not have another outbreak in 5 years that I was effectively "cured."
The treatment itself burns like hell but it is tolerable. For me they took a small styrofoam cup and poured in some liquid nitrogen. They then take a Q-tip and apply it to the warts. They will retreat them several times depending on the size of the warts.
After the treatment your dick will swell up to girths you never imagined possible. It will also turn black and blue and be relatively sore. Most of the initial pain comes from the treatment so there is not much after unless it gets in the wrong position to your treatments. You will eventually develop scabs on the treated areas and they will normall fall off with the wart in about 1-2 weeks.
All I can say is that the longer you wait the worse they will get. They will start to get roots and let me tell you, that's the last thing you want. Then burning them off may not be an option and they will be taking a scalpel to little johnny. Not my idea of a good time.

Yep they burn em off with liquid nitrogen, sort of stick it works. dont ask me how I know.

Hope this is an appropriate place for this question.
