These studies have me pulling my hair out (whats left of it anyway), they spend money to produce mathmatically modelled results on fundamentally flawed data namely the data on HIV infection rates.
Take for example south Africa as the country were 25% of the reductions in the deaths would come. A country with a supposed 40% infection rate, well this conclusion came from testing 25000 black preganant women, and was taken as an infection rate for a country of 30 odd million.
Firstly they are women and pregnant so one would assume they are having sex (although I believe RTB has some techniques to avoid this), secondly pregnant women often produce false positives i.e they test positive whilst pregnant and revert to negative after giving birth. Thirdly the women generlly came from poor bckgrounds areas which have a high rate of endemic diseases known to cause cross reactivity with the hiv antibody tests, diseases such as TB. Fourthly the quality of the testing given varies greatly often saliva tests with no subsequent testing to check for false positives, the % of false positives for even the elisa or western blot tests is frighteningly high, especially when you consider noones ever found the virus, so how you can even test for a virus no ones ever found I don't know.
Reminds me of a game of chinese whispers. Oh well another point for the HIV /AIDS scare the shit out of the world lobby.

And as for the chauvinist comments about soap and water - the report was on the state in southern Africa, where many have no access to such luxuries.
Though, judging by the comments of many Thais, neither do a large proportion of the farang with whom they come into contact.

If I may reopen a thread that I am sure everyone will be excited about having reopened, but on a slightly different but related topic. (Actually, I only post this hear because I can't talk about this anywhere else.  )
I have what I have always thought of as a half-circumcision, but have due to some online research started to conclude that there is no such thing, that there is just circumcised and uncircumcised penises, with more or less skin removed.
Either way, I have always felt that I had the best of both worlds in the endless, immortal debate as to whether or not 'tis better to circumcise or suffer the slings and arrows of female ridicule, and, apparently, higher risk of HIV infection.
But seriously, I have some foreskin left, just enough to cover the lips of the head when entirely relaxed (shrunken), but if I am even slightly aroused, it will withdraw and leave behind what to all appearances is a fully circumcised penis (albeit without any of the tightness I have read about in some cases). It protects when I am asleep, and but leaves me naked and ready to go when up and about.
I am curious if anyone else believes they fall into this category.
I am also curious if anyone thinks that a girl can tell the difference during sex (presumably she can tell the difference during a BBBJ) ?
And for those of you who are not circumcised, have any of you had an odd reaction from a TG? Or is that a western women thing? (Not that I have any idea what Japanese or Korean women think about this, forgot to ask past girlfriends.)

I am circumcised and I genuinally feel that the girls prefer it. You don't get the cheesy smeg that you could find in a sweaty foreskin The TG's will tell you whatever you want to hear, but other girls always say they much prefer it.
