Why in the world would you not be able to get your face wet ???
I have worn lenses for 25 years and it is no problem. You can squint or close your eyes when you know water is coming, but even so, getting water in your eyes will not hurt you or the lenses.
Furthermore, daily lenses that can actually be worn an entire month cost next to nothing.... like 50THB.
You must be very new to contacts.... relax..... it is all in your head.

Yes, I am a complete noob to contacts. My glasses were giving me a headache so I switched. The optometrist pretty much scared the daylights out of me, when he said, I shouldn't get "any" water on my face, also, that on aircrafts it is best not to wear them as if I fall asleep, then it is tits up for my permanent contacts.
Well, guess what, I got water in my eyes by my own fault. Forgot to take them off... and NOTHING happened.
Also, I fell asleep on the plane with my contacts, they seem to be fine.
