I think conspiracy is a bad choice of words.
Conspiracy would suggest that it had all been planned from the start. It also has other negative connotations, and lumps everybody together. Effectively aligning legitamte scientific concerns with 'crackpot ideas'.
People like the reappraising aids group that you pointed out are not crackpots. They believe the HIV = AIDS = Death hypothesis was developed from significant scientific errors.
In effect the basic rules of science were broken again and again and now like a snowball rolling down the hill, the aids juggernaut has become so big, seemingly nothing will stop it.
This film covers most of the major points and is quite easy to understand. It is a couple of hours long though.

Broken Leg, don't be so lazy. Just google and you will find tons of med related sites reporting "normal" T-cells count to be above 500. Just do the same that you would do if you wanted to look for normal values of red blood cells, or any other thing measurable at labs like blood sugar or hemoglobin or whatnot.

I'm being lazy!?! LOL.
I'm not interested in a website telling me what is normal.
I'm interested in reading the scientific studies where the website got these normal ranges from.
T cells can range hugely in an individual, even within the course of a day.
And even before looking at this you need studies that show that T cells circulating in the blood directly relate to the strength of a persons immune system.
The aids inc video above actually goes into this in quite a lot of detail, you may find it interesting.

By the way, to establish "normal" levels (for anything) you do not need complicated research. Just lots of observations under controlled (lab) conditions.

Actually my doctor calls that an 'Annual Physical'.
What I believe Smegs is talking about is establishing a baseline and observing the deviations from it over time.... much as a doctor does when taking your blood pressure and temp each time you visit a clinic...
