I was in bkk last year and needed some vicodin but none of the hospital knew the name and got some tylenol 3 instead. what's a good pharmacy to go for some hydrocodon or another drug name that are the same and are known by the pharmacist in bkk?

Since Vicodin is a frequently abused drug (but you knew that already, didn't you?), you may have a hard time getting it at most reputable pharmacies, even in BKK. Possessing it without a prescription may introduce you to the world of 'tea money', and/or the 'kook'. If you have a LEGITIMATE need for it, you can see a physician cheaply enough at Bumrungrad, and they will dispense your medication before you leave. Why do I get the impression that this is not the answer you're looking for? haam sup

It's a legitimate med, just what I had with me didn't have any refill and ran out while I was there.

I am following up on the post by Thin White Duke regarding his problems purchasing prescription drugs in Bangkok. Does anyone know whether there has been a change in the policy regarding this? Part of the crackdown? Has anyone purchased Xanax or other similar drugs recently?
