I have found this not to be true. While on my first trip I could by valium or xanax (for long plane and train rides) almost anywhere, on my last trip just a few months ago at least 5 pharmacies in the Suk. area refused to sell me any. There are still many that will sell whatever you want without a prescription, but in the Suk area many will not.

ps- cialis, viagra, etc. is still readily available everywhere whether or not you have a prescription...
