Yes can be administered orally. I would assume the doc would give a shot. If you self medicate (which you really should not do) then it is oral. I know Zithromax should be 2 g thats 4 500mg at one time to get rid of your ails very quickly. A med doc would probably say to orally take one tab morning and night for 5 days but I am not sure.
