There is a vd clinic on Pahonyothin Rd. From downtown, go along Pahon past Central, Lardprao and then past Major, Ratchayothin. It is about 1 (or maybe 2) bus stops past Major on the left clearly marked "VD CLINIC". The old lady doctor is quite ok. And the prices no higher than elsewhere.

Just an update on the Bangkok Christian Hospital. Went there last Friday to get a HIV test to get a certificate for work/visa reasons. Chose the BCH following Pinga's post earlier in this thread and also having got very disollusioned with Bumrungrad. Decided to have the full works whilst there so was tested for: 1. HIV 2. VDRL (Syphillis) 3. Chlamydia 4. Herpes Simplex Was asked by the female doctor if I had been vaccinated for Hepatitis and it was suggested that I need not bother with that one. All were blood tests, with the HIV and VDRL results available later that day and the remaining two available after approx 4 days. Registration as an out patient was quick and relatively easy. Getting around the nurses station, seeing the doctor and going through to the lab to give blood all pretty painless and took approximately an hour and a half in total. Total cost was 3620 Baht ( a lot of which was for the Herpes Simplex test). Received the final two test results from the doctor via email. All negative - as expected. Cheers, BS

BS, Do you just see the front desk nurse for these test, or is there a particular area you have to go to get the tests done? Also I notice you mentioned all were blood tests. Did they not require a urine sample for detecting Gonorrhea,NSU/NGU etc.? Anyone else been here or had some tests done lately, and if so where and how would you recommend the clinic/hospital..??
