I must have spilled into at least 15 bars on the Pong last week and not once (after politely asking) was I told 'no smoking'. Ashtrays were out in many bars already. This includes closd off aircon bars, not just bar beers. (and no, not just smoking 'smoking' bars!!)
Looking back into my 70’s Hawaii Five-O fanzine collection I am amazed at the number of cigarette ads in the publication. Ronnie Reagan/Malboro Man/Camel. The health warnings are there even this far back.
BTW where’s our in-house smoker at large Mel Gibson?
