I had a broken fibula, just above the ankle, with a titanium plate and a non-healing, infected, surgical wound. Multiple courses of several antibiotics, all intending to keep the infection from the bone. No progress.

if you get liquid vitamin E, you can apply that to the area after the initial "clean and antibiotic ointment" it will help the skin stay elastic, reduce scaring and promote skin growth. Usually you can find it in small plastic vials at Boots, they sell it normally for women to put in their hair.
