I was serious, this thread was not a "troll for humor".
The idea of this thread was to collect STD information specific to Thailand, habits of the bar girls, and other info. And to have people post the concequences of the unprotected bar girl experience. Perhaps even the protected "accidental break" or "fluid contact" experiences to help people understand that it is not a 100% risk free experience.
All I wanted to do was give some people a wake up call by providing a thread to post experiences, but instead I attracted tons of humor and some critisizm.

Tetra - I'm sorry, my misuderstanding. ÝI had never had an STD and didn't know if the question was serious or not but when I saw a humorous reply,,,,
I think the humor and the critisizms come from most people thinking that guys who partake in the night life may have been born at night, but not last night. Ý;)Reading other threads here would seem to suggest that no one thinks it is anywhere near a 100% risk free situation and that some guys, maybe most, know the risks and so suit up and some guys know the risks and don't and won't no matter what they read or hear.

tetrapod, sorry about the gratuituous humor, the first post I saw was Bandit's and thought that this was only a humor thread. In response to your question, which has been asked before FWIW, I did manage some body lice (not pubic) once upon a time, but not sure when, how with whom or from whence. A lot of potential there. And it took me quite a while to realise what was the problem.
To that end, I think that there is a lot of undiagnosed STD out there, surely some within the brotherhood, assuming that as a statistical group we are more or less representative of the general population. Some people get checked, some don't, just like some wear, some go unsheathed. And there are quite a number of STDs that can be asymptomatic, so it's possible to have and not know.

Upon return from los, I kind of "sensed" something was wrong, don't ask me how. I ordered Norflaxacin from http://www.medsmex.com
sure enough a few days after return It started to burn a bit when peeing. suffered it out a few days till the meds arrived then problem solved.
