It's one of those things people don't really like to talk about. However... I did see a farang at Param 9 hospital the other day in line to get something lanced off his genital area (he was still wearing his pants but covering his balls protectively as if Alibaba were about to come and steal his jewels) waiting to go into the laser area of the dermatology section. I assume he wasn't there to just now decide on some cosmetic surgery.

Plus there's a whole host of herpes (type 2 mainly I'd guess) going around.
Don't ask the guys, they won't tell you. You have to ask the girls (that you're friends with... not some girl the first time you go with her). If you get HIV.. you MIGHT stop working. You get something permanent but not fatal like herpes, clap, or whatever.... you can bet there are girls out there still working with this.

Well those pictures were UGLY.
Also watch out on using 2 condoms. It actually can be LESS protection than only wearing 1 condom.
The reason is the 2 condoms rub against each other while your banging the hell out of a girl and cause the material of the condom to break down pretty quickly and leaving you open for infection.
The best bet is to buy a thick SINGLE condom and let the good time roll.
Personally I use the thinnest condom I can find, But that's just me.

If you pick up a stunner or fun girl that you think you will keep for a few days, try asking her to go down to Bummungrad Hospital Soi 3 (Can't spell it) and have a quick blood test.
Can get the standard STD blood check , I think its about 350-400Baht. She gives a bit of blood, the two of you go away for an hour or two (Can have BJ in that time) come back and get the results. Hurah Bareback maybe.
Go upmarked and get the HIV Test Cost me about 600Baht but had to wait a bit longer for the results.
A small investment for a lot more fun and a lot less worries. The equivalent of a few beers and you save on the cost of rubbers. It is possible to break even on the cost if she is over sexed.
Never had a girl refuse the offer.

any clinic wil do too! with some of the sukhumvit places you will get a result within an hour!
prices are like indicated. for sure a good investment for your safety on a girl you plan to stay a while with.
personally i see alot of genital warts, clamydias, funghus and herpes are pretty common too! all of these things i picked up already at some places but never had the clap in my life except in china about ten years ago! thailand i have never experienced any clap so far!
usually the girls working in the industry are clean, the problems are the freelancers are so called 'good girls' or 'university girls' who go for the extra baht! they usually not engage in any screening and tests as it would be insukting for them. when i caught something in thailand in the past it was usually from these so called 'good girls'! A current story from the street: my TGF told me that her cousin, who works on Soi Cowboy, picked up something (bacterial I believe) from one of her customers last week. When my TGF asked her if she had been using condoms, she got a vague reply (in other words, "no" ). So, ostensibly, she can't work until she is cleared by the clinic. Moral of the story is: 1) we're supposedly educated enough not to be infecting these ladies, but we still do; 2) even when they know they shouldn't, these ladies will agree to unprotected sex if the price is right, even if they are currently infected with something.

do not worry!
the herpes i do have sometimes is not on my dick and the genital warts are gone with a nice laser treatment, so no problem at the moment. but nobody knows if they might come back at some stage!
but no, no problem living withit, as it is not painful! so no big deal at all! and the herpes, well some cream will make it disappear after 2-4 days so not a big deal too!
