After 6 month, I still have tinnitus
But it is reduced now and easyer to live with.
What did not help :
The corticoid and anti-senescence pills given by the first doctor
What do help:
Ginkgo biloba extract (2 pills morning, 2 at night)
Agar 35 Tibetan pill (one at night with hot water)
Some "music" also do help, especially the "atmosphear lite" software (there is a free version) and some plain sound (12hz, 432hz...look on youtube and experiment for yourself, some sound can cover tinnitus completely, so having them a tiny MP3 player is a real help to find sleep)

I have this problem and Doc says likely for life. However, when fitted for hearing aids they somehow make the ringing go away almost completely. I only hear it now a little in a very quiet room. Of course take them out and it is back.
