When I can not find a condom I just go to the kitchen and grab one of those ziploc plastic bags normally used for sandwiches>>
Smegma... I haven't used either type of female condom - dental dam.... so I wouldn't know. I was just passing along some of my "theoretical" knowledge than my "practical" knowledge. LOL
Mind you I don't see why you couldn't use food wrap... but definitely not bubble-wrap!

Smegma... do you know how thick bubble wrap is??? It's used to protect stuff in packaging... right... so there would be zero sensation through it. (stick with the food wrap, lol)

I would go for the Saran Wrap (Glad Wrap) or whatever brands you can get.

I raised this issue to try and understand if , perhaps, the BG could use a device to protect herself from STD's even if her customer refused to use a condom.
Seems that that is f_ckin' impossible from pinga's post and all the effort involved. hahaha

X--I totally agree with you that what I said sounds, to use the phrase one more time, "overly paternalistic," or perhaps patronising. ŬI also realize that BG's aren't the only ones who are making uninformed decisions about safe sex. ŬI wouldn't ask any of those friends of yours to have unprotected sex with me either. ŬI focus on BG's b/c 1) they seem to be a focus on this board; and 2) they are at greater risk (if not by the number/diversity of their partners, then from fact that the HIV rate is higher in Thailand than almost anywhere outside of Africa).
Note, I was not (and would not) make a relative judgment about BG vs. non-BG intelligence. ŬThere are intelligent but uninformed people everywhere; there are people that know the risks and just don't care everywhere; and there are just plain stupid people everywhere. ŬMy point was merely that as a group they are less informed and not as free to say "no" to barebacking (b/c of their situation) as most women. ŬAnd that is why, Ŭeven if you don't feel a duty to wear a condom with a western girl, you might feel a duty to wear one with a BG even where she consents to barebacking it.
BG's depend on sex for their livelihood. ŬThey are forced to do things they don't really want to do all the time in exchange for money. ŬThe fact is, we all do (you think I want to work?) and, when it's all said and done, being a BG is pretty good gig for most of these girls. Ŭ
And in a perfect world, where everyone is of equal knowledge and power, I would say everyone should determine what the cost of things are for themselves. ŬIn that scenario, i.e if a girl was both sufficiently knowing and free, if going bareback and risking HIV (in a country where access to HIV drugs is difficult) is worth X amount to her....by all means, if you're willing to pay X for it, everybody wins. ŬUnfortunately, it's not a perfect world. ŬA lot of these girls don't understand the risks and most of them don't really have a choice (or won't if we all start requiring condomless sex). ŬThe best we can do, or at least the best I can do, is not intentionally put other people at risk of harm when the alternative is as easy as slipping a rubber on.

I would like to tell Mr X the Soapy Slave that I have encountered "dump" college girls all over the planet. When you are in love they trust you. I know of a girl in Germany long time ago got a difficult to cure campus disease from her young husband, who happened to sleep with one of my girl friends without a condom.
I had a girlfirend in Thailand many years ago who took it as an insult when I wnated to use condom; I was more worried abot getting her pregnant! She was the only one at that time I had any unprotected sex.
It is a""criminal act" for any man to have unprotected sex when they know they are not clean!
