Info is 20 years old. Hospital on Soi 3, I can't spell. The whole works was 700 USD. I could not have asked for better service. Probably double or three times as much now.

Prices have not changed much. Rooms were set up where the father stayed in the same room. They made up the sofa into a bed. They even allowed me to bring my own beer keep it in the refer in the room. They did caution me on giving any to the patient.
In our case the baby spent 7 days in the hospital as it was a dry birth.

What is called dry birth?
Without the fluid protection there is an increased chance of infection, therefore the baby is kept in the hospital to monitor this and keep him on antibiotics. This is what I was told anyway.

Right, meconium will usually becomes thick and particulated, and it has a very good chance of being aspirated into lung and causes infection.
