If you want to drink but you don't want a hangover, a plant extract could be the answer, a study suggests. US researchers at Tulane University found extracts of a prickly pear cactus lessened hangover symptoms such as nausea and a dry mouth.

Drinking 4 glasses of water before going to bed will have the same effect - geez, when will people think, and put 2+2 together.
You get a 'hangover' (dry mouth, headache) because alcohol dehydrates your body (duh!), as a result, what you consider a hangover, are symptoms of dehydration.
Stock up on WATER before heading off to bed, or better yet, once you stop drinking alcohol, and you will wake up fresh and squiggly - no headaches, no dry mouth. Just a lot of trips to the bathroom (remember to drink a glass of water after every trip to the bathroom).

Harry, if I remember correctly and I am not going to search your posts to refresh my mind, you do not drink.. correct... What you say does help a little..I think... but, I used to do this, and the uncomfortable night sleep getting up to piss a dozen times is not worth the effort... especially when you still get a hangover anyway.
