Hi,
I´m taking generic valium (diazepam) as a treatment for anxiety, shoul I have any trouble (e.g. with thai customs) taking it into Thailand, I understand that Valium is available over-the-counter in BKK.

You should be fine I have done that.
Take your script from your doc if you want to be sure.
Valium is not just over the counter at all places as I tried to buy some unless things have changed.
There are some places that will sell it to you just not all.

The pharmacist in the beginning of Soi 22 on the right side will sell you anything. 100baht for 10 valiums.

Ive never even been looked at going through customs into bangkok. Easy to buy OTC too, although it is illegal now.

i've read a post that said diazepam is illegal in los now I find there is only one pharmacy still selling (soi 22)

It has always been illegal without script from Doc. That doesnt mean that you cant buy it in BKK. But it does mean that technically it is against the law to bring in without doctors script, same as Viagra. Rarely enforced but can if they choose. Get it legal and then bring into Thailand is the best advice. But, hey this is Thailand.
