After 9/11 we now know shit can happen.

What would happen in Thailand if North Korea launched and then got nuked by the might of the Americans once and for all?

Would it become dangerous to be a westerner on the streets with the media reporting hundreds of thousands killed by imperial warheads?

Could winds carry any fallout?

Who would stay say if China expressed deep anger or Russia about such weapons usage?
Ofcourse this is all hypothetical but not impossible

Also on Wednesday, a statement carried by the official North Korean news agency said: "We formally inform the White House and Pentagon that the ever-escalating US hostile policy towards the DPRK [North Korea] and its reckless nuclear threat will be smashed by the strong will of all the united service personnel and people and cutting-edge smaller, lighter and diversified nuclear strike means of the DPRK and that the merciless operation of its revolutionary armed forces in this regard has been finally examined and ratified."

It warned war could break out on the Korean peninsula as early as "today or tomorrow".

** US moves missiles amid Korea threat **
The US announces it is moving an advanced missile system to the Pacific island of Guam as North Korea steps up its warlike rhetoric.

HAHAHAHA, some of the best parts of Thailand came into existence the last time the USA was involved in a SEA war, or doesn't your memory choose to acknowledge that fact.

It's great entertainment and though mostly hot air...slightly unpredictable

In North Korea, nine is the magic number
http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2013/apr/05/north-korea-nine-magic-number

An analysis of the regime's significant dates shows a dynasty of Kims obsessed with the number nine. Watch out on 10 April 13

Seems all hot air and almost audacious given his nukes are half the size of those used on Japan
And experts doubt he could launch one far...however in the region it could cause nuclear war.
Even by its own aggressive standards, North Korea’s actions over the past couple of weeks have been extraordinary. Kim Jong Un, the country’s young dictator, has threatened the United States with nuclear Armageddon, promising to rain missiles on mainland America and military bases in Hawaii and Guam and declared a “state of war” with South Korea

BBC update

White House spokesman Jay Carney said on Friday a missile launch would not be unexpected.

"We would not be surprised to see them take such an action,'' he said. "We have seen them launch missiles in the past.''

Seoul has also played down the North's reported missile move, saying it may be planning a test rather than a hostile act.

Gen Martin Dempsey, chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, called the North's nuclear threat "reckless", but said it seemed to fit a decades-long pattern of escalation followed by accommodation.

"I wouldn't say I see anything to lead me to believe that this is a different kind of cycle,'' he told the Associated Press news agency.

Even so, Gen Dempsey said the cycle was more unpredictable because relatively little was known about North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, who came to power after his father's death in December 2011.

The US has delayed an intercontinental ballistic missile test scheduled for next week, defence officials say.

The Minuteman 3 test was put off over concerns it could be misinterpreted by North Korea, amid fears of a conflict.

It could be postponed until May, in what correspondents say will be portrayed by Pyongyang as a victory.

The North is understood to have moved a second long-range missile to its east coast, which has been the location for previous test launches. The weapons are believed to be Musudans, an untested model with a possible range of 3000 kilometres - theoretically enough to strike Japan and Guam.

Reagan would not have flinched
