ORiNOCO cards are touted as one of the better WiFi antennas. I have a Cisco A/B/G card that works good, but since my craptop only has 1 PCMCIA slot, I hardly use it and rely on the sucky internal Dell TruMobile card. I'm really interested in playing around with the Cantenna, but will wait until time to upgrade my craptop.

If u go to any starbucks u can get details of their isp's website which has details of all wifi spots they service in BKK and it's a lot. most good hotels have free wifi in the lobbies, swimming pool areas and so on. apparently the bars in the plaza at suhkumvit 1 are also wifi enabled now....check on the thread for revolution salsa under category bars. give it a year or so and u will get free wifi almost anywhere.
