More and more sites are blocked.....sigh! Previously we had to cope with sites blocked by the ISP or the police only. Now there is a new player, Ministry of ICT, whatever that is, that wants to protect us from moral danger. Their blocking signs are more colorful, so at least they try to cheer us up. If you want to look at their sign click on http://www.mict.go.th/ci/block.html or any site that shows Thai flesh.

Well they using it to blame porn but actully they use it for block sites about stuff they do not like. It is funny that passion.com is blocked but alt.com is not blocked.
I change so many proxy but I think as soon as they see a new proxy they just block that one as well. Hopefully when Taksin leaves this task force will loose its grip.

Hey all,
Is BTF blocked in BKK? I am going to be there for 2 weeks in July, and would like to be able to access this site periodically during my visit for reference. I will likely be at Majestic Suites using their Wi-fi on my own laptop. Are there any secrets to getting it to work if it is blocked? Or is using a proxy the best method? If there is a "secret" method, please PM me. Thanks.

Never had problems accessing BTF or any other site using BKK hotel in-room broadband service. If you're staying at an upscale hotel, should be good-to-go.

it's a modified version of Firefox that will get you to any website in the world from anywhere in the world (China, Thailand, etc.). It works something like VPN, creates an encrypted tunnel through which you do all your surfing. it runs right off the.exe file, i.e. you don't even need to install it on the computer you're using. so you can easily just carry it around on a USB thumb drive for use at internet shops, etc.
