JHymn above will do it - be sure to use it on music from iTunes 5, as Apple has plugged that hack with iTunes 6 (and once your music is converted to iTunes 6, there is no going back). Otherwise, simply use iTunes' ability to burn a CD, and then use that audio CD to RIP back into MP3. Since Apple's AAC is better quality than MP3, you should experience a minimum of loss from the cross-ripping process. Otherwise, if you are looking for a less expensive source of download music, in standard formats (that YOU specify), check out http://www.allofmp3.com Better player than iTunes? Preposterous! ;-)
